Hanae Mori Hanae Mori Butterfly

Hanae Mori Hanae Mori Butterfly
Description
Hanae Mori, the great lady of Japanese fashion and Parisian haute couture, introduced this fragrance in 1996 and the subtle composition of scents make it unlike any other. The fragrance is a rare blend of berries and flowers, with a distinctive tone of strawberries and almond, giving an impression of vanilla. The bottle's top is distinctly made from glass, a first for any fragrance. The top represents the beauty and delicate shape of a butterfly with folded wings.

Review #1 Unbelievable Fragrance which always gets comments!!
I'm not really big into wearing fragrances, but this is one I can't live without! I stumbled across it quite accidentally, and every time I wear it I get comments about how fantastic I smell. For hours afterward too, not just the first hour. The love of my life says it drives him absolutely crazy!!! So its nice that we all enjoy it!

Review #2 Beautiful in the parfum concentration ...
I recently purchased Hanae Mori "Red Butterfly" Parfum. Although I have only had it in my possession for 2 months, I have been familiar with this fragrance (although not in this concentration) for about 5-6 years. Every now and again, I start to yearn for a new scent. When I selected my last one, HM Butterfly was a strong contender, but it did not make the final cut. It stayed in my memory, however, and finally made it home.

Hanae Mori is a strong scent. It is *very* sweet. In fact, it is so sweet that it helps me to curb my overactive sweet tooth. I cannot overdo the cookie dough anymore without feeling quite ill. Despite being rather complex, it does not smell too "perfumey." It is suitable for my age (38) and my temperament. I doubt I will wear it for the rest of my life, but it is what I need right now.

HM is very feminine without being flowery. As others have noted it does give the impression of vanilla, but if you sniff a little closer it becomes obvious that what you are smelling is sweet almond. There is something a bit tropical in the perfume also -- I think it is the jasmine which translates to my nose as pineapple in this fragrance. It is buttery and creamy with a bit of a fruity punch. The sandalwood contained leaves a nice seductive drydown without being too musky (although I have nothing against a good musk).

I would recommend this scent for girly girls or for women, like me, who need a little boost of femininity in their lives. My man likes the fragrance, and I find that it gives more than a subtle boost to my libido. I could not ask for much more. :()

Review #3 Mmmmmm!
This perfume smells soo good! I first got it on my honeymoon in San Francisco and have been in love with it ever since! It has a very vanilla-ish smell....but even better!

Review #4 Astonishing Lovely
I received a sample of Hanae Mori Butterfly and was instantly hooked. It's feminine and romantic without being too young and sweet. I loved the faint vanilla-like undertone then found out it's an almond/strawberry and mysterious berries. It's so nice I can't go to sleep until I have some on. If you like Lauren Romance, Donna Karan Cashmere Mist and others along those lines, try this if you're looking for something new.

DERMAdoctor Total NonScents Ultra-Gentle Brightening Antiperspirant, 3 oz

DERMAdoctor Total NonScents Ultra-Gentle Brightening Antiperspirant, 3 oz
Description
Underarm discoloration is no sweat, so it makes perfect scents a soothing roll-on mild enough for ultra-sensitive skin, effective at providing long-lasting protection and smart enough to handle uneven skin tone. So gentle, it can be used right after shaving. It dries INSTANTLY to prevent residue on skin and clothing. Underarm discoloration can be caused by irritating ingredients found in deodorants and antiperspirants, a predilection to eczema or diabetes (acanthosis nigricans), as well as from skin friction triggered by movement and activity. Total Nonscents Ultra Gentle Antiperspirant with Skin Brightening Action addresses, improves, and helps eliminate embarrassing underarm discoloration.

Review #1 Good Results
I tried this product for six months, I felt some mild improvements but it did not lightened up the area completetly but, to be honest, it looks better than before. Well, it depends significantly on the skin type and how it responses it the product.

Review #2 Amazing deodorant!
I have super sensitive underarm skin. Dermatologists have never found anything that I could use as a deodorant. I've even tried Botox to freeze my sweat glands (it didn't take). Every product I've tried makes my skin irritated, bumpy or breakout. This Dermadoctor antiperspirant is incredible. It never stings when I apply it, even right after a shave. It goes on wet, but dries in a few minutes. The cool button on my hair dryer really speeds up the process. It doesn't flake and it lasts all day. I am odor free and dry! I have dark thick hair follicles, and have always had darker skin on my underarms. I think this product has helped lighten the area somewhat and maybe it will get even better over time. But most importantly it's an antiperspirant that works!

Review #3 Best Antiperspirant yet!
My sister has had dark underarms for years... she's tried everything- I convinced her to try Total Non-Scents and in less than a month her underarms have lightened up considerably! She says she will never use any other antiperspirant/deoderant again.
I tried it out myself and have to say that it is, if not the best one of the best Antiperspirant/deoderants I've ever used...No wetness at all.. and I live in the tropics!

Review #4 Sensitive Skin
I have sensitive skin and have had a very hard time finding something that won't break me out immediately or irritate my under arms by the end of the day. I also has some discolouration which was horrible for summer weather and tank top time. I started using this product about 8 months ago and was totally floored when I started noticing the dark areas looking better. It took a while but it was so worth it!

Review #1 Wonderful Bath Soaps from Provence!
These lovely, delicately fragrant, shae butter enriched soaps from the French Provence are absolutely wonderful!
I bought Linden, Milk, Honey Almond, Green Tea and Verbena. All lather beautifully with a rich, soft and satiny consistency, leaving the skin silky smooth and clean. They all have beautiful and natural smelling perfume which is never overpowering. Some, specially "Milk", is so delicately scented that it can also be used on the face. These fabulous soaps offer a totally luxurious bath experience that one can savor and enjoy! They are very long lasting and do not leave any foamy soap suds, or ugly froth marks in the tub or the shower afterwards.

Review #1 Bubble me up!
Glass container was fine, but its original box was almost completely crumpled. I felt lucky the product arrived without having been shattered. I would suggest some bubble-wrap packaging next time.

Review #2 Great stuff when you have a cold or are feeling under-the-weather.
This bath soak is perfect for when I'm not feeling 100% from sinus problems. The scent is really soothing and makes me feel better after about 15 minutes with this in a hot bath.

Blackberry Bath Bomb by LUSH

Blackberry Bath Bomb by LUSH
Description
Blackberry blasts away winter blues with bergamot and frankincense - keeping spirits berry. Once upon a bathing time, Blackberry was the original bath bomb. Now that bath bombs are de rigueur and we're flattered by imitations, set one of these off and see why LUSH bombs remain the best in the bath.

Review #1 LOVE LUSH!!!!!!!!!!
This bomb has a wonderful fruity smell (which I assume to be blackberry) and it turns the water an amazing deep purple color that is so much fun to sit in! It is mosturizing, but not as much as some other bombs (one star off). If you like a lightly mosturizing bath bomb - this is the one for you. I keep purchasing this over and over just because I LOVE the smell and color!

Review #2 Wonderful!
I just took the most purpley bath I've ever had... the bath bomb was perfectly scented and turned the water grape-purple. This was one of the best bath anythings I've ever used.

Review #3 LUSH Blackberry Bath Bomb - Berry, Berry Wonderful!
Pros
Yummy fruity scent, fun to watch it fizz, contains Bergamot Oil which helps depression, pretty lavender colored bath water!

Cons
Expensive shipping costs if purchased on LUSH website

The Bottom Line
I recommend this Blackberry Bath Bomb from LUSH for the beautiful color it turns your bath water, the fun fizzing action, and the healing properties of Bergamot Oil.

LUSH's Blackberry bath bomb is a fizzy and fantastic way to pamper yourself in the tub. It is one of my favorite LUSH products, and I am one who doesn't blink twice at spending over $5.40 for an amazing night in the bath. It is a small price to pay for a mini-spa experience and an emotional pick-me-up. The main essential oils in this bomb are Bergamot and Frankincense. How decadent! Bergamot is a known aromatherapy agent for depression. So you can justify your purchase as I do . . . it's good for you!

What is a bath bomb? It is a ball that is roughly the size of an orange (6.3 ounces for this particular one) and it fizzes, releasing a color and fragrance. It's fun to watch them fizz - I usually wait until I'm in the bath to drop the bomb and see it travel around the bathtub with a small trail of tiny bubbles behind it.

The reason I recommend this Blackberry bath bomb is that I love the fragrance (sweet and fruity) and the color it turns my bath water; a light purple. There are other bath bombs I do not like, and do not recommend. My criteria are simple - I like the way it smells, and I like to have nothing left in the tub to clean up afterward. Why do I say this? Because some of LUSH's Bath Bombs contain things like dried lavender buds, glitter stars, floating flowers, etc. You are left with a tub full of particles to somehow clean up without having them slip down the drain. Of course a solution to this would be to enclose the bath bomb in some sort of nylon or sock, but I'm too lazy to do that, and think it takes away some of the fun.

Blackberry Bath Bomb Ingredients: (from www.Lush.com)

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Bergamot Oil (Citrus bergamia), Perfume, Frankincense Oil (Boswelia carterii), FD&C Blue No. 1, D&C Red No. 33.

Where to purchase?

There are LUSH stores in many cities all over the world, but not as many as one would like. So many people end up purchasing from the online store, www.lush.com. The problem is that shipping often costs more than the price of the product - a whopping $8.00 because ordering online means things ship from Canada. I suggest waiting until you have enough money to purchase multiple products to make it worth your while. And always look for coupon codes - sign up for the monthly LUSH newsletter, too.

Although it isn't largely advertised on the website, you do get a free sample or two with your order - mainly a small wedge of soap to try. Their soaps are delightful, but seem to melt down pretty quickly, with one sample lasting probably only one bath.

Where NOT to purchase?

I have tried in the past to bypass high shipping costs and find a LUSH product on eBay.com. This is a mistake. You cannot guarantee a fresh product, and there is nothing worse than someone selling a bath bomb a year old that sinks like lead in your tub . . . the fizz is just gone out of it!

Try it, you'll like it!

Thanks for reading my review on the Blackberry Bath Bomb from LUSH . . . I hope it helps to encourage you to treat yourself to a little luxury now and then.

Review #4 Meh
I don't see what makes this bomb so popular. Personally I wasn't a big fan, but I didn't *dislike* it. It certainly turned the water a pretty purple, but the scent faded pretty quickly. It didn't dry my skin out, but I didn't find it especially moisturizing either.
